Like lots of older casinos fighting for tourist money, the Riviera tries to capture the spirit and excitement of the Las Vegas of yesteryear (think the Rat Pack meets Elvis) as well as a modern day, multi-million dollar casino feel that today's Vegas guests expect. Most of the rooms at the Riviera offer a western view, and a panoramic one at that. Guests at the Riviera can make use of the Convention Center, which provides space for trade shows, big conferences and major corporate and industry shows.
The Riviera Hotel and Casino has a huge gaming area -- over 100,000 square feet of gaming possibilities, both traditional games and new. The Riviera's Race and Sports Book is famous on the Strip, bigger than anyone else for years now. The big game at the Riviera is craps -- a rarity for Vegas -- and you can get in on the action at the craps tables which really picks up late at night and well into the morning. You'll also love the complimentary parking and up to eight dining options depending on the season.
Cheap Rooms at Hotel Riviera
Hotel Riviera has all kinds of deals on cheap rooms. They have the size and the "pull", so they can offer you a better deal than most of their neighbors. If you book online, you can lock in a super-low $30 per night rate, especially if one of your nights in town is a weeknight.
Think you deserve a room upgrade or a lower price? The Riviera staff is trained to provide you with all your needs, so ask sweetly about room upgrades or room rates and you're likely to be offered a better deal or at least a better room. If you stay between January and September, you'll probably be offered 30% off your stay, or an exclusive low rate, sometimes as low as $39 per night, or upgrade to a luxury suite at a special low price. I was offered a luxury suite for just under $200 during my last trip to the Riviera, and I'm no high roller. This hotel knows how to keep people coming back -- cheap rooms.
Once you've booked your cheap room at the Riviera Hotel and Casino, prepare to be entertained. Popular Vegas-style shows like Crazy Girls Topless Revue, The Comedy Club, and Barbra and Frank (an imaginary show featuring Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra) mean that you won't have to go far for a good show when you stay at the Riviera.
